A mini review of mini’s, plus.

Bravo Crumbl! This week well makes up for the soda disaster week.
This line up hits!

Crème Brûlée cookie: 10/10
The cookie itself was damn near perfect with the right crisp, the topping was divine! I will be returning for more of these. Seems mini’s might be the way to go for superior cookie crisp.

Cannoli cookie: 10/10 Matching the above review in vibe and crisp well cooked cookie, the inside cream is absolutely delightful and the miniature chocolate chips are the perfect finish.

Tiramisu: 8/10 This is definitely not your traditional tiramisu and if you are looking forward to your favourite Italian dessert, you will be greatly disappointed. However if you like more of a chocolate pudding layer with your cake, this is absolutely delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this.

Swedish fish cookie: 7/10 Surprisingly very good! I’m not usually a huge fan of fruit cookies, but this worked. Having the sour sugar as an added touch really set this apart and was a nice switch up in the grand scheme of so much sweet. It’s a nice pallet cleanser.

Stoopwafel sandwich cookie: 6/10 Don’t get me wrong, the caramel on the inside is absolutely amazing, but the two cookies sandwiching it are lacking in crispness and structure. This cookie is way too soft and it definitely would’ve actually been better as a mini just like the others.

Bonus menu Dubai stuffed cookie: 8/10
Absolutely delicious, but it is on the lower end of the Dubai cookie scale. This is where the big sandwich cookie is better in my opinion.

Edit:

Forgot the gelato cookie. And if that’s any indication, it was actually rather forgettable. 5/10
The waffle was the best part about it, the rest was really bland.

Mini review of mini’s! Favourites week.

I didn’t bother with the snickerdoodle cupcake cookie as I find the Churro to be much better personally.

Strawberry ice cream bar cookie: 10/10
This is superbly good! So much so I will be buying a full sized one.

Marbled stuffed cheesecake cookie: 6/10
Just ok, doesn’t have much of a pronounced flavour.

Twix cookie: 8/10
Pretty darn tasty! That caramel is lovely! The shortbread is nice but could be better.

Oreo birthday cake: 7/10
They really need to switch out the cream cream icing for buttercream on this one, otherwise the base is really good.

Secret menu, Golden Oreo cookie: 7/10
Same as above statement. The base is wonderful, the icing, not so much. Not a huge fan of that cream cream icing.

Biscoff skillet cookie: 8/10
A touch overdone, but delightful! The mouse sells it. Still waiting on the return of the Biscoff pie, now THAT was a fan favourite!!

Edit: Type of cream mind blip.

Mini review of mini’s. Canadian edition.

I would like to start off by saying that I am greatly disappointed that I did not get the American lineup this week. I have been looking forward to that cornbread cookie for a while, and I absolutely adore a nice apple crumble anything. I digress, here we go with the review.

Strawberry shortcake: 9/10
Light and fluffy, the jam was really nice, thoroughly enjoyed.

Saskatoon Berry, lemon crisp cookie: 8/10
I honestly did not expect to like this, but it is quite delightful. I did find it a little undercooked, but the cinnamon streusel was super yummy.

Cherry bomb cookie: 10/10
I found this to be really nice And refreshing as a different flavoured cookie. My kids insisted I do 10 out of 10 as they basically let me have a bite and then insisted on splitting the remainder.

Maple crème cookie: 4/10
Meh. As a maple snob originally from maple country in Ontario, this just didn’t hit. The cookies were way too soft and bland. The crème inside was just ok, but not great. Dare brand Maple cookies are way better.

Summer berry tart cookie: 7/10
Outside of the cookie being structurally very crumbly and lacking flavor, the toppings far made up for it. I could eat a tub of that mouse topping.

Nanaimo bar: 7/10
The base was great! The chocolate on top phenomenal! The inside needed more custard flavor. Close but no cigar. It’s nice as a treat, but would not go out of my way to buy that as a regular craving for an Nanaimo bar.

I’ve been trying to get my hands on these since 2019!

THE HOLY GRAIL OF SOYA SAUCE HAS BEEN ACQUIRED!!
Missed buying this when it came out in 2019 and I refused to pay the reseller price of $20.
T&T has them for $6.09 CAD!

I haven’t pulled a decent shiny in a while, so I am pleased to get this.

I’ve been getting a lot of zero star shiny’s during events, so on a random raid join, this is a pleasant surprise.

Pricy treats, but oh my tasty!

I got the Dubai for me, and the straight chocolate for my friend. The strawberries they used were super sweet, the cups were filled with a good amount of chocolate, and the Dubai one was just heavenly! 10/10

Nice as a once in a while treat for $14.99 CAD.

All the Dubai in one happy place. What is your list of favourites?

The sandwich cookie is my favourite, followed by the cheesecake, regular brownie, stuffed cookie then Biscoff brownie last. How do you rank them?

A mini review of mini’s… plus!

Interesting lineup this week.

Root beer cookie: 3/10 so the mini was packed with flavor, and we could really taste the root beer. The bigger version, that I got for my friend, he stated that he could barely taste any root beer whatsoever. Regardless, just not my type of cookie, and I’m not a huge fan of the flat warm root beer flavour.

Skor tres leches: 8/10 this is really pleasant and very nice and tasty, but I am more a fan of the traditional tres leches cake. This is a better than sex cake, which is good, but not my fav.

Grill it Cookie: 2/10 Nope. This is not it at all. It’s like it’s trying to be a dirt cake cookie, without the flavour.

Dad joke cookie: 4/10 first off I don’t like peanut butter, but I wanted to give this a fair shot. I actually enjoyed the peanut butter coated chips, but the cookie was just meh.

Reese cookie: 7/10 even though I don’t like peanut butter, the exception has always been the peanut butter cups. Although I’m still not a fan of the cookie, the topping made up for it.

Bonus secret menu Chocolate birthday cake cookie: 6/10
You’re basic chocolate celebration cookie. It’s fine.

Dubai cheesecake: 9/10
When they actually pack them properly with the right amount of topping, and cook the cheesecake appropriately, these hit.

Also my first time buying a dirty soda, which surprisingly was sweeter than everything in that entire box. Not sure if I would get another one if they’re that sweet.

A mini review of mini’s.

Immediately after taking this picture, I had to quickly remove the cheesecake and my Dots cookie and clean them off best I could of the mango Tajin topping. Way too much put on top!

Mango Tajin cookie: 2.5/5
Honestly, I enjoyed the buttercream and I actually liked the tangy mango super drippy sauce on top. The cookie however? Oh my goodness no. It’s all about the texture and that is far off from it.

Dots cookie: 4/5
Basic, simple, and exactly what you would expect from a sugar cookie with sprinkles on top.

Nanaimo cookie: 5/5
My absolute favourite for sure of this week’s lineup! It is delicious! Hits all the right points as a picky Canadian.

Sundae cookie: 2/5
Bland? I think that’s the best way to describe this one in comparison. I’ve given it a few tries as my friend loves it, but I just can’t get behind this one.

Dubai cheesecake: 5/5
Needs more topping. That is all.

I am simply blown away by the talent of Nastasia Steele. Came across this at an art event yesterday.

Photo taken with my iPhone, directly of the canvas live in person.

A mini review of mini’s.

Can’t say I was overly excited to try this week’s lineup outside of the Biscoff cheesecake, which I bought earlier this week and was OK. 7/10

I have a question for Crumbl, why are you afraid to use good quality butter?
All you had to do to make the new chocolate chip cookie decent was maybe browning some butter a little. 3/10

Was the rice crispy square slapped together with just bland marshmallows and no vanilla? Once again, where’s the butter? I resonate with many others who have stated that it was stale tasting as well at the same time soggy. Lacked flavour outside of white chocolate to be honest. 3/10

The lemon poppyseed cookie was the only decent thing, and that lemon curd was a nice touch. 8/10
