I realised I didn’t show you my finished Lunetterie Generale frames after I got the lenses done. I finally went with Hoya Sensity Colours - Gradient Blue photochromic lenses and I’m delighted with how they turned out. They are becoming one of my fave go-to sunnies!

Great excuse to road test my new JMM Comanche in tempest. After wanting a rectangular shaped frame for ages, but not landing on one that didn’t make me look like an extra in an 80s electronic music video, I finally came across these Comanche and thought I’d give them a try!
I love them - the acetate on the top of the frames is super classy. A great fit for me - nice and small - and the lens colour is cool to look through. 🤎
One of our frequent contributors talks about the hex codes or pantones for colours matching but I can’t remember who - I want to get a custom lens done with Hoya but want to give them more information than just a photo. Can anyone help me? 💜

Hi there! Thought I’d update you on my new frames now I have had the lenses fitted. I went for the Sensity fast in the end - they activate to cat 2 which is a lovely light brown. I’m delighted! And because they are fast, they have a background hue (I believe is around 8% but not found any info on this from Hoya website). I added my favourite Meiryo coating and I’m chuffed to bits.
I wore them all day on Saturday, day and night, inside and outside. So comfy and the photochromic was great - truly fast activating and fade back.
Very happy!
Luckily a lady was walking her dog and found my parcel thrown in a bush and drove round to give it to me….

Check out these cuties! Bought for £30 unused - RRP £295… I’m going to fit them with single vision pink solid tint lenses with Ultima coating from Lensology as I noticed they have a 15% lenses sale this bank holiday. Even better! All in all will cost me less than £100 for a brand new pair of funky designer glasses. Can’t wait to see how they turn out! 🩷 Hopefully even better than my ChatGPT version in photo 3 😜
