Self Service Tipping

I’m glad I found this thread!

The other day, I went to a self-serve frozen yogurt shop. The only thing the cashier had to do was weigh my bowl and offer me a spoon. Their POS asks for a tip immediately as the cashier stares at you with puppy dog eyes.

I’m not going to be rude to service workers but I clicked zero. I also thought, the cashier is doing exactly what her employer is already paying her for: to cashier. In our one minute interaction, she didn’t do anything special to deserve a tip.

It’s 👏🏻 a 👏🏻 self 👏🏻 serve 👏🏻 shop! If anything I SHOULD be the one getting the tip. 😡

My go-to lunch

I’m calling these adult lunchables and is my go-to lunch pretty much every day. It has greatly helped me to eat the produce I buy and stay away from wandering around the grocery store at lunch time or hitting the drive through.

Today’s choices: Cedar’s pita chips, baby carrots, cucumber, steak bites, two hard boiled eggs and a peach.

Lately I’ve been eating this in two servings over the course of the afternoon because it’s so filling.
