Hey r/animeapp! Quick update - the iOS version I mentioned last time has cleared App Store review and is now live!

Kagami is an Anime & Manga tracker built around both MyAnimeList and AniList. Just pick which one you use at login, and your lists, scores, progress, and airing information sync directly from there.

What's new since the last post:

• iOS is now live on the App Store, with the same core feature set as Android - not a stripped-down port
• Rating colors - your personal scores are now color-coded as Bronze / Silver / Emerald / Diamond depending on your rating, making your list much easier to scan at a glance
• Offline-first - your lists are stored locally on-device, so the app works without a connection and syncs in the background when you're back online
• Episode drop notifications on both Android and iOS
• Seasonal browsing to explore what's currently airing and what's coming next
• Upcoming episode tracking, so you can easily see when the next episode of something you're watching is expected
• Character information directly inside the app
• Full Anime & Manga tracking with progress, status, scores, and list management
• Support for both AniList and MyAnimeList

Kagami is free to use, with an optional premium tier that simply removes ads - none of the core tracking features are locked behind a paywall.

Since this is the first iOS release, I'd especially love to hear from anyone trying it on iPhone. But feedback from both platforms is more than welcome.

And please send me your feature requests, suggestions, or anything you'd like to see improved. I genuinely want to keep building Kagami around what the anime and manga community actually wants and make it a great experience for everyone.

I posted here a while back about Kagami, my AniList-native Android tracker.

Good news — it's now available on iOS too, so you can use it on iPhone with the same direct AniList sync for status, scores, progress, and everything else.

Highlights since last time:

• iOS launch, with the same core features as Android
• Personal scores are now color-coded by tier (Bronze / Silver / Emerald / Diamond), so your list is easier to read at a glance
• Seasonal browsing, character info, and upcoming episode tracking
• Works offline with a local on-device database, then syncs in the background when a connection is available
• MyAnimeList support is included too

Hi everyone,

I've been working on Kagami, an anime & manga tracking app for Android.

The latest update completes the migration to Material 3 and includes UI polish and quality-of-life improvements. The goal was to modernize the app while keeping the experience familiar for existing users.

Current features:

• Track anime and manga progress
• Support for both AniList and MyAnimeList
• Upcoming episode information
• Episode airing notifications
• Premiere notifications for new anime seasons
• Progress tracking that prevents watching more episodes than have actually aired
• Light and dark themes

I'm also working on an iOS version, which is currently under review by Apple.
