First Time Buyer Help

Good morning everyone!

Looking to order my first pair of selvedge denim and landed on N&F! Since I'm new to the world of selvedge, I have a question about hemming. I measured my three favorite pants, took the average, and compared the measurements to their fitting guide and found the perfect fit and size (true guy size 34). However, the inseam length is rather long at 35.5" and am just curious if it's safe to hem them down to a 30" inseam or if I should leave an inch or 2 in the special request to be safe. As background, I'm 5'8 and about 180 lbs and normally wear size 33x30 in most mass produced jeans/pants so I'm wondering if I should hem these down to 30" which matches the inseam length on all 3 of my pants or if I should maybe go 31" or 32" to be safe. I do want to cuff these and plan on wearing these with most of my boots so a half break length would be nice I think but please let me know your thoughts here!

My first adult glove! Used to play ball in elementary and middle school a while back and haven't picked up a glove ever since (15ish years). Looking to join a rec league so had to get myself a new glove and thanks to this page, I was able to pick these beauties out for a great price.

I'm in no way a glove expert or anything but love things that are made to last and will tell a story over its lifetime. They smell great out of the box and the quality seems better than any other glove I've seen. They do feel stiff as a board though and I can barely get them closed (not that that's a bad thing). I own a few pairs of boots so I'm used to having to break in something made of stiff leather. As with most quality leather products, I'm sure these will just get better with age once the leather softens up! (just like my boots)

Really excited to get working on these before the season starts. Any tips on how to break this glove in properly? Plan on wearing them 2 in the pinky and finger out
