I’m trying to help support my family after my sister-in-law experienced the heartbreaking loss of her baby through a stillbirth at 36 weeks. This has been an incredibly painful and unexpected time for our entire family, emotionally and financially. We are raising funds to help cover the remaining funeral and headstone expenses for the baby, as well as regular household bills while she takes a couple of weeks away from work to grieve and recover. Unfortunately, she does not receive paid maternity leave, which has added even more stress during an already devastating situation.
To try to make ends meet, our family has been organizing taco and food sales leading up to the funeral tomorrow. Every donation, share, and kind message truly means so much to us right now. We are simply trying to give this baby a beautiful resting place while helping the parents have a little time to heal without immediately worrying about bills and financial pressure during their grief.
