So I'm nearing the final stages of making my Homebrew chapter in SM2 (currently unnamed but they are blood angels successors). I wanted to do something different for Techmarine compared to the standard marine (which I have put as a reference in the fourth image), but I'm at a roadblock as to what I should make the helmet. I want to make the helmet either black like the basic marine, red like other techmarines, or blue..... Just BC.

Unfortunately I am indecisiveness manifested into physical form and wouldn't be able to decide what I like more even if a heavy bolter was pointed at my tiny human head, so brothers I require your aid. What colour do you think looks best?

I have recently been obsessing over a homebrew Astartes chapter I've created which is inspired appearance-wise by the blood maykrs from DOOM: Eternal. I've gotten the helmet colours, chapter markings and ranks, and the company badges down. Only two things remain for me (unless there's more, I'm still relatively new to 40k) and that's the actual name of the chapter and the chapter emblem itself.

Because this homebrew was made in Space Marine 2, I've been using a modified version of the Deathwing (I think) Dark Angels emblem where the sword is transparent, the wings are Khorne red (no affiliation with Khorne, they are loyalist), and the halo is Liberater gold. The only of these two issues I currently have that I need help with per say is the emblem as I can come up with something fitting later (something blood related, they are sons of Sanguinius).

I am very conflicted on how I want the ACTUAL emblem to look. I kinda want to add something onto the emblem so that it isn't only just the dark angels iron halo emblem, but I don't want to add something like the blood drop BC that would look like the blood angels logo but with an iron halo. I am open to ideas and would very much appreciate both opinions on what to do for the emblem, and what your overall thoughts on the chapter's appearance so far are <3

With the recent reveal of the class specific gear being overhauled and allowing us to use capes and iron halos on different classes, now would be the PERFECT time to give us the hooded errant helm and deathwatch cape Titus had in the intro of the game! We don't have many capes as is, and the overhaul would be the best time to put in more customisation for capes and halos. Also we desperately need more hooded helms like this one, having the only hooded helm across all classes being the dark angels one isn't very customisation friendly with other legions.
