Genuine Question: do you know anyone who has quit state work because of RTO?

My worksite has had mostly the same people since before Covid. We haven’t lost anyone in that time due to telework (just two people; one because of retirement at 67 and another because they moved with their husband’s job). In fact, we have hired to fill spots and get an influx of applicants.

Just curious, because the gang over in the state worker sub makes it seem like everyone is quitting everywhere.

I received a 90 day ban on this forum for asking why the board needed $20,000.00 in leadership training.

Furthermore, the “moderators” did not cite any rule that was violated in that post.

Would it be improper for me to ask how much money the board has spent on the failed CEQA endeavor? Are they really behaving in the best interests of our union with these expenditures?
