Loop Temp on Water Furnace Symphony Dashboard

Loop Temp on Water Furnace Symphony Dashboard

Greetings all! Just had a 20 year old unit replaced with a WF Series 5 that seems to be doing OK. Installer wasn't able to make any determinations as to the well status (except that it's closed loop) e.g. over/undersized/vertical/horizontal/etc. and how that might affect the unit efficiency. Currently, it's 85 degrees outside (central Oklahoma) and not humid (dewpoint is 55 degrees). The soil temps at 24" are at 77 degrees and the 3 day average is about 78. There is no real time monitoring of deeper soil depth that I can find. With that, how does this loop temp look to you? A cursory search shows it a little high for current conditions, but I don't know what I don't know. TIA!

Hey OG&E....GO F* YOURSELF!!!

Yet ANOTHER rate increase is being pushed. Email sent out this morning includes this grand detail...

Our request would equate to a $23.88 monthly increase for the average residential customer, and the earliest new rates are anticipated to take effect is in six months.

I have a bid to have my nearly 20 year old system replaced. I have attempted to find a spec sheet for the system that has been quoted, but I am having a tough time figuring it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Airport TSA Touchless ID PreCheck?

I see that OKC now has touchless ID available for PreCheck. Has anyone used this lane? I assume it's probably right next to the normal PreCheck lane. Wait times have never been an issue for me but seems that lately it can be hit or miss as to how long the line might be. Thanks all!

Location of "Pulse" 3rd Brake Light Flasher Module?

I have a 2023 RTL I purchased used that had the "Pulse" 3rd brake flasher installed. I had no idea (wasn't charged, so maybe installed when it was sold as new?) it was there until my wife made a comment about it. I'm on the fence as to keeping it as is, or removing it. Does anyone have an idea where they might install the module for this? As I understand, it's small (size of a pack of gum) and has to be hard wired into the light. Still on the fence but I would at least like to see the install if it's easily accessible.

CSB Redux // 62 Catch Up Estimates

I have read some stuff on attempting to estimate the 62 catch up and had a question. Looking at the ERAS (retirement statement), the SBP section has an "annuity base amount". As best as I can tell, this amount is what a monthly gross retirement would have been TODAY had the member NOT taken the CSB. Looking at this number, it appears that it includes the missed COLA increases. So, this number would do a pretty good job of telling you what your payment would be if you turned 62 on THAT month. Does this sound accurate or am I out to lunch and misunderstanding?

Air Conditioning // Dark Color Issues?

I have a 2020 4Runner Limited (dark gray exterior and dark (non ceramic) tint)) and have noted that the air conditioning just isn't that great. It's kept in the garage and isn't driven often, so it's pretty much always clean and cabin filter/condenser are also nice and clean. I live in Oklahoma, so it does get hot/humid in the summer but I'm just not sure that's the issue. I also have a 2023 Ridgeline with same dark gray and it's so much cooler in the summer (although I do understand that the cabin is smaller than the 4Runner).

Today isn't too warm, but it is humid and a test run shows AC temp output temp at 42 degrees at an ambient outside temp of 75, a differential of 33 degrees. Same test with Ridgeline is 38.4/75 with a differential of 36.6. The numbers seem to indicate it works "well enough" but I'm just not sure.

Before I spend any money having it checked out, what are your thoughts? Normal? Nothing to be done?
