Hey everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m a 20-year-old student trying to manage my monthly expenses, and I’m looking to earn around $80-100 per month so I can support myself without always relying on my brother.

In terms of skills, I’ve completed the Google Project Management course, though I’m still at a beginner level and don’t have hands-on experience yet. I’ve applied for internships but haven’t had any luck so far.

I’m also familiar with Canva, research work, and basic social media management. I can do cold emailing as well (preferably with a base salary setup). Currently, I’m learning digital marketing, especially Google Ads, but I know it will take some time to get good at it.

I’ll be honest, I do struggle with ADHD and I don’t really have a mentor or proper guidance, which makes things a bit harder. But I’m willing to learn and put in the effort.

If anyone has any advice, guidance, or knows about any small opportunities or remote work, I’d really appreciate it.

Thank you.

Assalam o Alaikum Hazrat and Mastorat,

I hope you’re all doing well. I’m a 20-year-old student trying to manage my monthly expenses, and I’m looking to earn around 6–8k per month so I can support myself without always relying on my brother.

In terms of skills, I’ve completed the Google Project Management course, though I’m still at a beginner level and don’t have hands-on experience yet. I’ve applied for internships but haven’t had any luck so far.

JazakAllah خیر.

Part of why I got into digital escape tools was wanting the ability to step away and reset. But every messaging app makes that almost impossible. They all want a permanent identity tied to a phone number or account. I just want the option to go quiet or create a fresh persona for a while without it being a huge project. Feels like a basic freedom that doesn’t exist. Anyone else feel restricted in this way?

One of the hardest parts of degoogling that nobody talks about is how fragmented everything becomes. I’ve got different apps for different people and it’s honestly exhausting to keep track of. Family expects WhatsApp, some friends only use Telegram, work wants Signal… it feels like I’m maintaining three different versions of myself. I miss when communication was simple. Has anyone found a way to make this less painful while still staying off Google?
