For this experimental piece, I had in mind the idea of “a hallucination caused by a blood transfusion" and our majestic Amygdala.

Hey hunters, it's me again! Continuing our Bloodborne art journey with the Shadows of Yharnam :)

My intention with this piece was to experiment with how quickly I could create a painting while still focusing heavily on the atmosphere and suggesting forms rather than defining every detail. If you zoom in, you'll notice the large brushstrokes!

As a kid, Shadow of the Colossus was the game that first showed me what art could be.

I felt it was finally time to pay tribute to what I still consider the very definition of a masterpiece.

Two faces, one sword. Such is my nature.

A soul drenched in blood. Yet willing to face the Night.

And perhaps when the Night has passed. I will complete "The Erdtree."

A young village girl, seeking help, dashed into the forest, where she prayed to the statue of a protective deity that held a weapon raised overhead.

By the end the village was steeped in red and settled in silence. The village girl, drenched in blood, stood with a vacant stare and a heroic weapon in her grip.

"Aahh! I see a shape. My guide, I see your voice, clearly, as it bends and bleeds. My own, revelation... just for me..."
