I'm struggling to get the sound in a decent level of balance. It's often too thin/tinny. I'm not great at this, and have pretty much anyways set an EQ like this without much knowledge behind it.

Using FLAC through Audiowagon typically, but also a mix of DAB and Bluetooth.

Any suggestions or advice to improve my sound (Best balance of clarity, dynamics and tonality)?

Dealer almost destroyed my paint, and tried hiding it

My other half purchased a used CX-5 from a dealership. All looked good on collection. After a few days, however, and in very sunny conditions... You could see a horrific amount of holograms all over the paintwork. Giving it a quick wash, and removing what I can only assume was multiple cans worth of WD-40 where they tried to hide stuff, the whole car was full of scratches, holograms and burn marks. Personally never seen paint this bad before.

Dealer wasn't interested in fixing it, so, decided to just face into it myself. Having never done any degree of 'detailing' before, I decided to play it safe.

- Wash + dry

- Clay bar + quick detailer

- Meguiars DA + yellow pad + Koch P3.01

Took 5+ hrs, but managed to get rid of every single hologram and buffer trail, and most of the scratches. Probably need to go over it with a deeper cut to get rid of some deeper scuffs, but next time. Will also add some wax!

I was worried about Mazda paint, heard the horror stories, and was worried I'd make it worse. However the combination above worked really well, and the paint held up brilliantly.

Dealer almost destroyed the paintwork, and tried to hide it

My other half purchased a '21 CX-5 from a Kia dealership in the UK. All looked good on collection. After a few days, however, and in very sunny conditions... Giving it a quick wash, and removing what I can only assume was multiple cans worth of WD-40 where they tried to hide stuff, the whole car was full of scratches, holograms and buffer trails. After reaching out to the Kia dealer multiple times, they clearly wanted nothing to do with it. Ignoring multiple messages, calls and face 2 face did the usual 'we'll be In touch'. Awful customer service.

So, decided to just face into it myself. Having never done it before, I decided to play it safe.

Didn't take many after shots, sorry, as I wasn't planning on posting them! But it looks so good now.

So point of the post? For anyone that is maybe as worried as I was before doing this... The combination above worked really well, and the paint held up brilliantly.
