Help me choose a size for colorwork sweater

I swatched for the rosie sweater. I am able to hit 21 stitches in 4mm for the normal swatch. For the colorwork, I am I am getting 22 stitches in 5mm. I don't think so I'll be able to match both the gauges.

This is my first time doing any colorwork

I wanted to make the Size S should I size up to (M/L) because my colorwork gauge is off ?
