learning to dye clothing for the first time and looking for the right colour of dye and how to do it without screwing everything up

I'm making a cosplay of gummigoo for the release of episode 9 in cinemas and I bought tickets for me and two of my friends to see the final episode and swore I'd go as my favourite character. I've got some clothes I've got ready to purchase and made sure they're all white so they can be dyed now I'm trying to figure out which dye I should get and how I should dye it correctly. I'm looking into rit dye and while golden yellow fit the yellow of gummigoo I'm uncertain if any of the green dyes match or find a fabric dye that matches.

the plan is to dye one piece half yellow and half green to represent the fading between the colours of the character and then dye a pair of pull on arm sleeves with one yellow and one green and the pants all green. On top of that I've never dyed any fabric before and I don't wanna ruin the whole thing from one mistake, I've seen people boil water and pour the dye in then after a while dunk the fabric in and check until the colour is the desired one but I won't be reckless and do that. if someone can tell me what green either from rit dye or another dye could match and tell me how to properly dye clothing or send me a tutorial link to watch I'd be greatly appreciative!

I swear my account had the right dob and I did the verification thing but when I checked if a game I liked was in the 18+ category I found out my account was apparently in the 16-17 age group and I'm not 16 or 17 even though I look like I am, I'm 20 (turning 21 in a few days). I can't recall changing the dob at all and I used my government id to confirm my adult status so why does roblox think I'm a minor? did roblox change my dob for whatever reason? do I have to wait another year to have range to be considered an adult to the game because we can't fix our dob anymore?
