Ultimate sandbox adventure where you tailor your own story and level up?

Hi, I still seek that one game that I dream of, the game where you experience adventure, write your own story. The game that does not demand anything from you and yet you feel motivated to pursue your desired path.

The game where you feel part of and where your actions mean something.

Fantasy world is a plus with lots of events to occur, lots of monsters to beat, lots of loot to get and yet if you sit back after a while, you can still see the whole picture, the whole reason why you do all this apart from gameplay flow/necessity.

Creating your own story is important to me, I tried big campaign games but midway through I always discovered that following a written story is not my thing.

Yes it seems like DnD description I know but I'm not looking at TTRPGs .. I actually more thought of a Diablo while writing this.

The closest games that I found during all these times were:

Hexplore IT series - don't own - this one I found too complex for what it was and high time pressure

Dungeon Universalis/League of Dungeoneers - don't own - again these suppose to be the ultimate dungeon crawlers and frankly I thing they are and yet the fiddlines and difficulty always sent me off from gameplays I watched

Mage Knight - own - ultimate solo adventure euroish puzzle and it's excellent at doing that

7th Continent/Citadel - don't own - Heard good things about both but somehow never really clicked with me and I believe if you finish game once, you've seen it all, but dunno if true.

Sleeping Gods - don't own - seems really cool, it's prescripted from what I read but great sense of adventure and replayability

Rogue Dungeon with upcoming Hexcrawl expansion - own/backed - such lovely small game, the best from all these I have and I have really high expectations of their new expansions they are releasing when they introduce whole world that connects all those dungeons with choose your own story elements.

Shadows of Brimstone with Hexcrawl - own - haven't played Hexcrawl yet but the overall SoB experience is really something that scratch Diablo itch the most. And it creates such crazy awesome stories while you play.

Euthia - own - haven't played yet but this one I just feel might be the most adventure that blends Heroes of Might and Magic and Diablo loot system for me. It's so massive I need to find time to set it up and soon.

Dragons Down - don't own - And here we are, this one I think that could be the most ultimate choose you own adventure for me from all I read, seen, heard about it. There's even bgg post where people post their stories from game. Lovely. I am eyeing this one the most currently

And from different theme and genre there is Xia: Legends of Drift System that I love so much, but it's just not that one adventure I'd be thrilled to be a part of.

HI,

I'm waiting for my copy to arrive and every playthrough I've seen was for solo only play.

I intend to play it solo most of the time, so it's okay for me but I'm curious and wonder if it's still as fun playing with more people or even playing multi-handed?

Anyone has an experince on this? Thanks.
