went to the matcha event at one ayala and tried 5 merchants! :) ranked in terms of my favs!

1. lazy life - first time hearing this brand and i was surprised that the biscoff banana pudding matcha was SO good !!! well balanced and their matcha was so umami and flavorful! also tried milo matcha and was surprised at how much the milo paired well with the matcha! want to come back to try how their matcha pairs with their other flavors
2. shinya & shocha - tried the seasalt mochi matcha & pink lemonade matcha !!! loved both, the dango in their matcha was one of the best ive tried in manila. the pink lemonade matcha was also so refreshing and a breather from all the latte
3. matcha diva - mango matcha was so good & refreshing! but the caramiso hojicha was just okay and a bit too chunky. in terms of the flavor of the matcha, there wasn’t anything noticeable, but it wasn’t bad either.
4. rai - tried cinnaban matcha! so gooddd but the cinnaban kinda washes out the matcha. they use a blend of marukyu aoarashi, isuzu and wakatake afaik
5. the matcha mood - tried the ichigo matcha and seasalt hojicha. loved both but the seasalt hojicha was more remarkable!

**bonus lol - the management had a social passport event + the freebies are SO nice! cant wait to try more at the brew & whisk event next week 🤩🥳

hi! has anyone tried reapplying within 6 months after a denied japan visa?

for context, our family (of 18) has a planned japan trip this june, but unfortunately, some of them did not get a visa 🥲 we’re really bummed since we’ve been looking forward to it and some are flying in from other countries just for this trip 🥲. we’re looking for what we can do with their visa pa etc. their first application was for tourism, but now, we’re checking if they can reapply for a visiting friends/relatives visa since they have close friends who live in japan that are willing to serve as their sponsor
