For those with recent EB-2 NIW cases under Regular Processing, how long is USCIS taking these days to make a decision?
My case details:
Receipt number starts with: IOE093719
Receipt date: June 10, 2026
EB-2 NIW (I-140)
Regular Processing
Has anyone with a similar IOE receipt number or a filing date around May–June 2026 received an approval, RFE, or any update yet?
I’d especially appreciate hearing from people with cases close to my receipt block.

I recently filed an EB2-NIW petition and received an IOE receipt number.

I have a few questions:

From your experience, do IOE cases move faster since they are processed electronically, or is there no difference? How long did your IOE NIW case take from receipt notice to approval or RFE? I am from one of the countries currently subject to U.S. visa restrictions. Has that affected anyone's I-140 processing, or only the visa issuance stage? Would you recommend upgrading to Premium Processing, or is regular processing sufficient in this situation?

I would appreciate hearing recent experiences and timelines.

I am about to file my EB2-NIW I-140 petition and am trying to decide between Premium Processing and Regular Processing.

Interestingly, my attorney recommended regular processing, arguing that Premium cases may receive closer scrutiny and could be more likely to receive an RFE.

Has anyone recently faced the same decision? Did you choose Premium or Regular, and what was your experience?
