Getting bullied at school
Hey everyone, I'm Hunter.
I'm 16 and I go to high school in Australia and for the past 6 months at school I have constantly been the kid who a group of boys picks on. It usually just consists of the same comments: they either make fun of me being unable to walk normally (I'm in a boot and crutches because I broke my ankle last week), physically pushing me with my crutches on because I can't retaliate, and making fun of my gym TikTok which I post on, as well as other stupid stuff like just constantly making small remarks when they walk past me. It has been going on consistently for months, and I never respond to them or get pissed off at them because I try to be the 'bigger person'.
Now I know this probably sounds stupid, but I am substantially bigger than all of my 'bullies'. I'm 6'2 80kg and I would consider myself quite an active person. And recently I've seriously been considering just punching one of them in the face next time they make fun of me.
I know this isn't the right thing to do, both socially, (potentially even legally) and in my own personal morals. I am a pretty slow to anger person I would say and I don't usually get angry but it has gotten to the point where this group of about 5 guys will just make fun of me for anything and I feel like the only way to put them back in line and show a bit of self respect for my self is to punch one of them.
I am really confused as to what I should do to make them stop. I've been ignoring them for months and it hasn't worked, and I don't really want to tell a teacher because honestly I feel like that would just make it worse and that just isn't really something I normally do.
