I might be cooked here...

EDIT: leaving this here so others can learn from it as well. But this has been resolved. Thanks to those who answered quickly now I know that BILT / CARDLESS doesn't do balance transfers.

So yeah as the title says I might be cooked here.

I did a balance transfer of my bilt balance to my new Bank of America travel rewards card. I also did a balance transfer from chase.

I called bank of America just now to get an update, and they said "Yes we see a balance transfer from Wells Fargo and Chase... and they are pending. It should be done next week"

WELLS FARGO?

Not Bofa can do about that on their end. So im gonna go try my luck in communicating with Bilt support and try to get a response and update about this.

Either way, now I gotta pay interest on the rest of the balance that wasnt paid (because I did this balance transfer) and now my statement period is gonna run through again at a high balance tomorrow. Lol. Worst part is I didn't need to do a balance transfer. I did it just because I could, and I invested the money instead.

I think I'm done now....

So after alot of thought and strategizing, I pulled the plug on more Rakuten deals. I'm thankful that I had the means to do so, I wish I had more so I could take advantage of more. But this was as far as I could stretch it. Either way, everything SHOULD track properly and August will be a nice payout in Bilt Points.

Cashing out next quarter.

Tool advantage of as much as I could this week without over spending, or spending just to spend. The temptation was there for sure to buy the rest of the 100% off VPNs, essentially buying Bilt / Amex points at a 1 cent per point ratio, but I couldnt get myself to commit. So only got the 2 that I will actually use.

The Bank of America Credit card was a nice surprise. Bonus on that card is $250 for $1k spend. Redeemable for flight, hotel, or dining credit. So i'll use that for a nice dining experience with my wife along side the CSR and Amex dining credits.

Anybody else getting some cash back next quarter?
