Speech therapy through school or private?

My 4 year old is currently in speech therapy, that is through the school system. They are making some changes making the commute almost impossible with my job. For example. The day's he has speech I don't get to work until around 10:30. The new location and time I would be looking at 12, and its just not doable.

I went on expressable, and now I am on a waiting list just for him to be evaluated. He has already been evaluated, it was a 4 hour long process, and weeks of waiting to get the green light that he needed it. And truly was just an absolute pain.

I feel like we had a good thing going and now its all over the place. Do I try to continue to find someone and go through a private company or just try to continue through the schools program?

TIA

I feel like we had a good thing going and now its all over the place. Do I try to continue to find someone and go through my insurance carrier? Or just take the loss and keep him in with the school program??

TIA
