We were at Walmart tonight and I peeked at the price of ground beef because I am craving some homemade burritos fiercely. The price tag read over $7 for just one pound of ground beef in the roll (not even high quality.) I am curious where everyone is buying their ground beef these days? I cannot fathom paying $7 for just a pound of ground beef!
There is an intro that peanut played recently that I believe is a new~ish one and I want to find the song associated with it. This thought led me to my question above, is there a "master playlist" so to speak of all of the songs he uses for his intros/cut scenes?
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because my family could really use some help getting through the next couple of weeks until I’m paid again on the 15th.
My mother-in-law passed away in October, and since then things have been steadily difficult for my husband and me. I’m currently working two jobs, and he’s been doing DoorDash and UberEats to bring in extra income. Despite that, this weekend we hit a breaking point financially.
Our landlord completed an inspection yesterday—the first one in the 10 years we’ve lived here—and over the past couple of months we had to put money into fixing several things in the home to prepare for it. That took away from funds we normally rely on for basic needs. Between that, rising gas prices, our electricity bill, and day-to-day expenses, we’ve fallen behind.
Right now, we’re struggling to cover essentials. We need gas to get our daughter to and from school (we live outside the school boundaries, so transportation is on us), and also to keep doing DoorDash/UberEats so we can continue earning. We also need help with groceries for ourselves, dog food for our two dogs, and hay for our five rabbits.
If anyone is in a position to help, even a small amount would mean more than I can express. We’re just trying to get through to the 15th and keep everything afloat until then.
