In my late 30s and Ive skated last summer at my local rink for the first time. I want to continue to learn and progress.

I also want to get my own pair of skates to do indoor skating, footwork, and outdoor trails.

Which ones should i get?

Update: lots of good suggestions and opinions. Ill measure my feet first. As for the skates, it looks like majority of you are saying either Riedell Dart fans or the Moxie Beach Bunny fans.

Im a bit worried about the rust, but was thinking i can just grease everything and be on my way.

Was thinking of offering $30.

Late 30s male. I dont have any friends anymore. I am married and i go to work, but it’s just limited variety of interactions.

I do enjoy structured, physical, tangible tasks with clear start to finish like yard work, cooking, car detailing.

So maybe hobbies like landscaping classes and cooking classes? Some other community college no credit classes? I think i miss how easy it was to make friends in school. We saw each other daily, low pressure interactions, shared activities.

38 male. Trying to be better about my skin protection.

Looking for sunscreen that i can get from a grocery/drug store. Will use daily on face, neck, legs and arms and not feel gross. Preferably low cost. And can apply in the morning and lasts all day.

Late 30s male, trying to improve my physique by working out and dieting. Suns out and hot now in the Pacific Northwest.

I’ve gotten compliments from other asian am saying how nice and pale my skin is. Ive always wanted to tan cause i think my muscles would pop out more with some color, but i can already tell my skin is getting wrinkly especially crows feet and the back of my hands and forearms. I tried spray tanning but looked more white people orange than asian gold.

Should i just keep myself pale and sunscreened til i die? Or go naked and get some color and skin damage for short term satisfaction? Do you tan?

**Update**
Consensus from everyone: Dont tan, it’s not worth skin cancer for aesthetics.

Thanks all, i will not tan. Researching good sunscreen. Also chime in recommendations for sunscreen.
