Need help pc won’t turn on

I recently built my computer. But it won’t turn on complete silence.

Things I have tried:

Checked all the connector to make sure they are clicked in. So cpu , motherboard. ( trying to power on the basic stuff )

Checked psu in my old pc and it runs so not issue with psu.

Tried to run the pc with screw driver trick ( bridging power switch) still nothing.

Now here’s the interesting part when I removed the ddr5 rams ( both of them ) the dram red light on the motherboard came on.

I tried to stick them back in one at a time and still nothing then I switched the ram slot , i was using the 2nd slot and moved to 4th slot and still nothing.

Opened the cpu from the socket and all pins are fine and not bent.

So I’m confused what to do now what might be the issue.

Help with building a pc

PC.

>**1. What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games (ex: resolution, FPS, settings) or programs you will be using.**

I want to play games such a league of legends and valorant. In 1440p and max settings. I also wanna do coding and some home lab stuff for cloud based projects maybe even ai projects

>**2. What is your maximum PRE-TAX budget before rebates and shipping?**

2.5k CAD

>**3. When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.**

Now

>**4. What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ex: tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)**

I will reuse keyboard, mouse.

>**5. If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? How old are they? Brands and models are appreciated.**

Buying a new 1440p monitor

>**6. Will you be overclocking (ex: CPU/GPU/RAM)? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line?**

Dont know what that is so probably no

>**7. Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSD, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth, VR, VirtualLink, tensor cores, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc)**

SSD

>**8. Do you have any specific case preferences (ex: mITX/mATX/mid-tower/full-tower sizes, styles, colours, window or not, LED lighting, etc.), or a particular color theme preference for the components?**

Anything looking decent should do, nothing modern or high end. Also I don’t like rgb so no lights

>**9. Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? Note: some post-secondary students can get Windows 10 for free.**

Not really, I can use linux or puchase some keys online for cheap.

>**10. Will you be upgrading this PC in the future (ie: will you swap out better parts later on or will you build an entirely new tower later)? If so, when?**
I want the pc to last me sometime maybe 5 years

>**11. Do you have a brand preference? (ex: AMD/Intel for CPUs, AMD/NVIDIA for video cards, etc)**

Amd cpu and nvidia graphics cards

>**12. What are the specs of your old PC / laptop? Do you want to see if it can be upgraded instead? If so, paste its build from PCPartPicker here.**

CPU: AMD FX-8320
• GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
• RAM: 16GB DDR3

>**13. Extra info or particulars:**
Prefer if a liquid cooled or AIR cooled AIO combo with less noise. Currently own 1080p 60Hz monitor, will upgrade to something with atleast 144hz soon.

Appreciate your inputs and help.

GPU box seal broken

Hi everyone

I recently bought a graphics card from Canada computers and when I got home I noticed that the outer box seal was broken. Everything in the box seems okay and the gpu is in the anti static bag with the seal on.

Has anyone had a similar experience buying a GPU from Canada Computers?

This is my first time buying from them, so I found it a bit odd. Honestly, I’m nervous that I might have gotten scammed or got an open box for the price of a new one.
