Wtf Yoosung?? 🤦‍♀️

Wtf Yoosung?? 🤦‍♀️

Doing another story for the first time and… actually I think that acting “energetically” in this situation is the bare minimum expectation!??

He is really getting on my nerves in this route. Makes me think of those men who cry “hysteria” when a woman is rightfully panicked.

Anyways, usually I like Yoosung, but this rubbed me the wrong way and I had to rant 🫣

EDIT: Ok I see it as a translation issue, apologies! Thank you to those who cleared it up ❤️ I think the translations have been giving me a lot of trouble in this route for some reason, usually I’m able to understand a bit better rip 💔 dunno if I should delete the post, but wanted to put the edit here to clear up my mistake!

my wife’s route is actually pretty romantic 🥰💞💞💞

I never realized how romantic her route is lowkey!! I’m rather smitten haha, like I knew I was bi before, but her route is making me feel extraaaa 🏳️‍🌈

I was sure I did her route before but I actually have no recollection from ten years ago, so it all feels brand new :)

Recently started replaying after 10 years 🫣 decided to celebrate 707 since I’m in Korea now

They didn’t have Dr Pepper at Emart, so I just got coke since it’s also red and black 😭

I can’t believe that I get to replay this wonderful game while actually being in Korea this time. I was 13 when I played it the first time, and I think this (plus WEBTOON) was my introduction to Korea/the Korean language. It feels like everything is full circle 😭

Sorry for this long winded story, I just feel so thankful and happy after remembering how wonderful the game is. (Also I love having adult money finally so I don’t have to mess up my sleep schedule for the chats lmao)

Anyways, fighting the urge to do 707’s route again since I just finished it a couple days ago. I want to replay everyone’s route, but Seven keeps calling to me 😫

P.S. if you haven’t tried the real life Honey Buddha chips, I recommend! They’re quite tasty 😋

EDIT: just found Dr. Pepper after searching multiple convenience stores… first time trying it and WOW 707 was right ~~ Coke can’t even compare 🤭

Disrespectful student, but to what extent? Cultural/language question.

Some background: I teach at a public elementary school, and ever since I started teaching, I have had one student in a fifth grade class continuously not do work. There was one day where I had to stand behind him the whole time until he finished, otherwise he would talk to others or just sit there. He was able to do the work by himself, and I’m not asking these kids to do difficult tasks (literally it will just be copy exactly what is in the textbook into your notebook, and he still won’t do it). I just told their homeroom teacher about that problem today.

Onto my question… every time I go over to the student to get him to work, I am met with a confused “Eh?” The first time it happened, I tried to explain in simple Korean (my level is super low, I am taking classes). Basically I just repeated the instructions (that were written in Korean on the board, mind you): 영어로 두 번 쓰세요. Every other student understood but I was constantly met with, “Eh? Eh?” Even after using super slow and dumbed down Korean (that is later confirmed with the native Korean English teacher was correct and understandable).

Now, I just walk away after repeating the instructions once, or ignore the student entirely at the suggestion of the other English teacher. However, I’m wondering, is “Eh?” a disrespectful way to express confusion?? I know it is super common in Japan, but I realize I don’t really hear Koreans use “Eh” when confused. I might be overthinking this because of the other disrespect, but I’m just tired of it and I’d love for any input from people who know those nuances.

Thank you and apologies if this isn’t the proper place to post this.

TLDR; a student who never does his work will constantly act confused when I go to him to make him work. Even when I explain in simple Korean, I am met with “Eh? Eh?” How do Koreans usually express confusion? I know “Eh” is common in Japan, but I hardly hear it in Korea. Is this a disrespectful way to express confusion?? Or am I overthinking?

Roach ID in kitchen. South Korea

Hello, I’m posting again because I finally have a clear picture of the back. This is a German roach, isn’t it?

Just found another and this was after I had pest control spray like two weeks ago. It wasn’t limping until I sprayed it myself, so it somehow avoided the areas that were sprayed.

Found these small brown things under my kitchen sink in my apartment (Pohang, South Korea). Are they eggs or related to roaches? Have killed two small roaches in the past month or so, also in kitchen, just on the outside of the cabinet doors. I think there’s a dead one under the stovetop?

Here are videos that better show the actual size of these things as well as the suspected dead roach I just found: https://imgur.com/a/l9qhyp3

Hello roach connoisseurs. Apologies in advance for my long-windedness, I wanted to provide as much context and background as possible because I’m extremely anxious and I want as much support and evidence as possible so I can leave!

I was inspecting everything for bugs when I saw these oblong brownish things in the cabinet under the sink and on the side next to the stove top. I don’t know if they were just not there last time I checked, or if I didn’t look closely enough. I don’t know what the discoloration and grime near them is, the mess was from the previous tenant and due to fear and disgust, I haven’t wanted to even touch this cabinet.

I’m in Korea and I moved into this apartment in the end of February. I was fine until maybe a couple weeks in when I came across a small roach in the kitchen. It was on the backsplash behind the stove top, not big at all. After killing it (sorry roach lovers), I hadn’t seen another so I thought it was just an unlucky visitor.

Just a week or so ago, I found another small roach! Also in the kitchen, this time on the outside of the sink cabinet doors. I haven’t seen another yet, but I’ve been paranoid. Hence why I was inspecting the cabinet today and then I found the brown things. I then looked under the stove top and saw what looks to be a dead roach (I think I see a leg 😭) next to a piece of old burnt food from the last tenant of course (haven’t cooked anything on the stove because it disgusts me) - see imgur videos.

Are those things under the sink related to the roaches? Are they eggs? Sheddings? Poop? Or are they from a different bug entirely?

I’m trying to collect more evidence so my school will hopefully move me to a different apartment as I’m already dealing with a foreign grain beetle infestation and excess mold under the floors that was there for god knows how long. This was just the icing on top of a sickening and stressful cake.

TLDR: found these brown things in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Moved in to apartment end of February, saw first small roach mid-March on the wall behind stove top. Saw another small roach a week or so ago on the outside of the sink cabinet. Today, I also discovered what I think is a dead roach under the stove top (see Imgur videos). What are the brown things? Are they from roaches?
