Update - 14 months post op

Hi everyone. I posted here last June when I was 12 weeks post-op and dealing with pretty severe banding so I wanted to give an update.

The 2nd photo is how it looks now at 14 months post-op without straining my neck, and the 3rd is with my neck strained. The banding has definitely faded compared to before, but it’s still there.

Last year, before the first photo, I got the shots (apparently called Triamcinolone Acetonide) 2–3 times. Then this March, I contacted my clinic again and got the shot once more because I hoped it would completely get rid of it. The 4th photo is from March before the shot, but honestly I don’t think it changed much.

I didn’t really massage much or get any other treatments. My clinic never recommends anything else and basically just told me the shots would help instantly. So now I’m not really sure what else I can do besides wait it out and maybe start massaging more consistently. Just wanted to share an update in case anyone else is dealing with something similar.

10 days of preparation

I did it guys! I had to urgently take the test for the 3rd time in my life, 3.5 years after the last one. But 6 days before my test I found out I had to get at least 7.0 on my writing and speaking, and I was very worried because writing was my weakest section. I got 6.0 on my 1st test, and 6.5 on the 2nd. All the mock tests I did before this time were scoring me mostly 6 or 6.5 and rarely 7.0.

I’m a bit sad about LR&S tho… I got 0.5 higher on those sections in my previous ielts lol
But I guess it was worth focusing on the writing
