2013 kia soul has a bad habit of not starting (touch to start) in the cold or sometimes just randomly. got a new battery when i got her 2 years ago and no diagnostic test has been able to detect anything? all lights and everything turn on when cranked it just won’t turn over.
is it crazy that I feel like I’m never getting the time off that I request?
for reference i work 40 hrs a week in ogp after i did remodel
time 1: in March, I was literally scheduled 11 days straight .. and when I put in time to take five days off in April it was denied. I put it in multiple times and the most I got was partially approved. I messaged my coach and told him that I keep putting in the time & it’s denied but if he schedules me, I’m calling out. he scheduled me anyway.
(my main issue with working the 11 days in a row is that I already communicated to my coach that I have health problems when i was constantly being put on staging)
time 2: I put in time in early April to takeoff May 28, put it in three times it was rejected. Spoke to my team lead about it and she said that a lot of people were already off that day so she couldn’t give it to me. (im gonna end up using PPTO for part of it). then she said to put in my time asap so i have a better chance.
tjme 3 (same day as talking to team lead): I put in my vacation time for July 19-Aug 9 on april 19th… all of it gets rejected. I put it in again and part of it is denied. I put in for the days that were denied, denied again, put it again and they get half approved. now we are getting somewhere.. only 6 days left to approve .. i put it in and it gets denied.
at this point, I’m just confused because I never ask off unless I need it and I almost never call out. There’s no way I can make enough ppto to cover even half of the shifts for those 6 days.
btw i have 2 attendance points and its from those 2 days they refused to take off
