Wich one is better for picture ? And overall ?

I was thinking of buying the Xiaomi 15T Pro from the official website, and I'm french.

I've heard that Xiaomi "spy" on the user and things like this, that it was ban in the US for this kinds of reason ,

what's actually true and false ? I've seen mixed opinion online and I don't really know what to believe.

I'm thinking between a Xiaomi Redmi Note 15 pro + 5G (found it around 300 euros)

And a Iphone 17 who's definitely more expensive ,

I'm hesitating to switch on apple and I'm trying to see what would make it worth it , I like the "security" aspect of ios, and I think that the phone look way better too but I feel like all of the ios feature would be on the Xiaomi, am I missing some exclusivity on iOS ? , what should I get ? ( I use my phone mainly for social media and picture)

I would like good picture/battery in priority, idk if it's on all Android phone but in my Xiaomi when I go in file there's ton of ads so I would like one without that idk if it's still the case in recent Xiaomi.
