As the title says I’m soon turning the big 40 and would like to start investing , only problem is o don’t really know where to begin .

I have 20K I can invest as a lump sum and can do between £1500-£2000 every month

Also I can lose this money so I don’t mind a “higher” risk if this helps the higher returns
