How to clean the bottom of my (tiny) pool?

We bought this tiny pool for our kids to play in, but now - about 2 weeks in - the bottom of the pool is filled with… stuff…
as you can see in the picture, I bought a filter system, but it only works with pools way taller than ours (I.e. where the water runs into the filter and no suction is required)…

I know I could just drain the water out and refill it, but I would like to not waste that much water, if it can be cleaned?

I’ve tried using a net, but the particles keeps going through it…

Any suggestions on filter systems/equipment that can solve the issue?

Conversation got too long and chatGPT got very slow - how can I transfer to new conversation without losing context?

I'm using chatGPT for job search and have over time build up quite a lot of context within this 1 conversation and feel that chatGPT has gotten to know my preferences.

However, due to the conversation dragging on, chatGPT has now gotten so slow that it takes it over 3 minutes to respond to a quick question (and it states itself that it only thought for 4 sec).

I've asked it to generate a summary that I can then bring over to a new coversation, but already from the first prompt, I felt that it was missing some things...

Is there a way to condense a conversation without losing too much context?

Should I cover the soil with pine bark?

I have 5 pots of fig trees on our porch.

I honestly care the most about the 3 ones in the bigger pots, but as you can see from the picture, only the trees in the smaller pot (which is also covered with pine bark) has started sprouting leaves.

I initially removed the bark, as I wanted the bigger trees to thrive and receive more water etc. but now I am starting to doubt my decision.

ChatGPT says I should just be patient and that larger trees take longer to put out leaves in the summer, but I can’t help thinking about the pine bark…

I see 3 differences

  1. The pine bark
  2. The size of the pot (small pot = leaves, bigger pot = no leaves)
  3. More trees in one pot for the little pot

What do you think? Should I re-cover the soil with pine bark?

What is a good app for creating mock-up version of a DIY project?

Hi everyone

I want to build a stand for my bonsai trees in my garden.

I have found this bench https://www.bonsaiempire.com/blog/building-bench that I like, but I would like to make some adjustments to the design (size, available materials and some design changes).

I can see that the app used for creating the pictures in the link is SketchUp, but SketchUp seems to be missing some features I would consider pretty essential (like being able to change the size of an object by typing the dimensions in a numerical value rather than just dragging a slider).

I have looked for alternatives but they all look very professional and hard to work with...

What app/program/website would you recommend for this purpose?

Which is better on renewed sunder charms? +dmg or -enemy resistance?

Hi everyone

Has anyone done the math on which is better? +15% elemental dmg or -10% enemy resistance to that element.

Who can drop which sunder charms?

I’ve been watching YouTube videos, reading Reddit posts and articles about sunder charms and now I might suffer from information overload.

I know there are (now) 2 types of sunder charms:

  1. Latent sunder charms (the old ones)
  2. Renewed sunder charms (the new ones)

Some users on Reddit report farming Andy for sunder charms but at the same time it sounds like they can only drop from heralds?

Questions:
- Can renewed sunder charms drop or are they only crafted?
- what can drop from which mobs?
- can act bosses always drop sunder charms or only when they are terrorized?

How to convey in an application that you are ready handle greater responsibilities?

Hi everyone

I was recently laid off from my previous job due to re-structuring. Because I had a long tenure with that company, I was given 7 months of paid leave.

Truth be told, I was already beginning to look for new challenges, since I felt that I had outgrown my position as team leader and was ready to take on more responsibility.

However, now I am on a schedule to find that next position.

The thing is, I am not getting interviews, and I believe it is due to recruiters looking at my past achievements rather than my potential.

I have led, I have coached, I have scaled, I have implemented, I have...

My most recent manager was ready to have me shadow him so that I could get practical experience with the things I am missing (strategy development and formal project management), but I have spent A LOT of time trying to develop a toolbox within these areas and feel pretty confident that I would be able to handle the responsibility if someone would just grant it to me...

But it's the famous paradox - you need to get the job to get the experience, but you need to have the experience to get the job...

What is a good approach to conveying your potential rather than you results?

How to avoid selecting difficulty before starting a game? (PC)

I'm farming LK for runes and have now already twice mis-clicked NM instead of Hell... Is there a way to NOT have to click on the difficulty selector?

I know that I can press 'H' on the keyboard, but N and H are very close together so it doesn't eliminate the issue fully...

Hi everyone 😊

I’m a total newbie and this is my first textured art piece, so if possible, please avoid using lingo that can only be understood by those who have practiced art for years 😅

I have been trying my hardest to avoid brush lines on my art piece, but no matter what I do they always seem to appear…

I have tried thinning the acrylic paint I’m using with water and today I tried with something called ‘floetrol’ which I believe is something that is usually used in pouring art, but it is also supposed to minimize brush lines? I added 20% floetrol to the paint I was using, but it didn’t change anything…

Afterwards, I went to the art store and they recommended that I buy a so-called sponge brush, and though it seemed to be better, it still didn’t completely eliminate the brush lines 😕

I really want this to look like cloth on a canvas, and the brush lines are sort of ruining the illusion a little bit…

I was considering using spray paint on top of what I have already applied, but I don’t know if that will make a change and if it is even a good idea?

Please help, it is for my wife on her birthday in 10 days 😁
