Student Planning for MS 2027 — Choosing USA 🇺🇸

Hi everyone,

I’m currently pursuing my 4th year at KL University and planning to go for my Master’s in 2027. Right now, I’m still confused about choosing the country for my higher studies. My top 3 options are the USA 🇺🇸, UK 🇬🇧, and Germany 🇩🇪.

Personally, the US has always been my first preference, even with the current situation and discussions around jobs, visas, and everything happening right now. I did look into Australia as well, but for me the process felt a bit more complicated, so I’m mainly focusing on the US.

I’d really like to hear suggestions, experiences, or advice from anyone who has already gone through this process or is currently planning for Fall 2027. Things like which country is better overall for CS/Tech, job opportunities after graduation, visa situation, cost vs ROI, student life, or honestly anything you feel would help.

Ik ik it’s probably too early to start planning for 2027 😅 but I feel this is actually the right time to start understanding the process properly instead of rushing everything later.

Also, I’m from around the Vijayawada/Vij region, and honestly I don’t know many people who are planning for this process. If anyone nearby is also preparing for Master’s applications, IELTS/GRE, SOPs, universities, etc., maybe we could connect and help each other through the process.

Would love to know your thoughts.

Thanks for taking the time to read this :)
