Tried to return my boots over UPS and they screwed me

I’ve never shipped anything ever. I went to UPS so I could ship brand new cowboy boots to the sender since I needed an exchange. (Worth more then 200$) i was told I just needed to email the shipping label and I was good to go. He let me walk out without confirming it was sent or putting it on the package. I realized two days later the shipping address never went through. However when I called my boots were shipped to a random address. They won’t tell me the specific address, which I need to file a claim on the product. Basically I’m out two hundred dollars and my boots are probably gone forever. And the company really won’t help me. This is the first thing I’ve bought for myself as a treat in over three years. So now I’m super sad and disappointed in myself and the company. I was so excited and it’s all gone now, just replaced with me feeling dumb that my boots and the money I invested in them are gone.

Just bought my first pair of boots!!!

I just bought my first pair of boots. I tried to try them on in person before I bought them but they didn’t have my size in stock at boot barn.

When I went to buy them they didn’t have any wides and they were on sale (50 dollars cheaper) so I got them anyway. They’re a little too snug for comfort but I was told I could stretch them out.

Is that actually possible or should I return them and wait for the wide size to be back in stock? The sold is made of leather, the lining pig and the upper is cowhide.
