Is this a side effect of Mounjaro?
I just took my first dose last night (2.5mg) and I don't know if I'm self suggesting things or these really are all side effects and somehow I'm getting them all 😂
Things I've noticed :
- pain! Upper back, arms, neck lymph nodes, pits;
- rash, small little red dots in clusters or spread that are very itchy, these spots aren't raised though, but I did notice a streak or two that does have bumps instead of spots. They are also not all in the same area, and none of them are actually at the injection site. I had some small itches herr and there in the past 2 days so it could also be something entirely different and just a weird coincidence because I looked it up and all the rashes I found look nothing like what i have, my spots are needle point big. Looks more like a heat rash.
I have to say, I woke up hungry, ate 60g apple and 40g pepper and I was fine for the rest of the day, but will eat dinner soon.
Anyways, I plan to wait it out and see, try again next week and see if it still happens. My guess is it's all a system response and it will be okay (as opposed to an actual allergy reaction). I'm just curious if others have had something similar and what their experiences have been.
