animated by Michael Sporn

The segment musically tells the story of a young baseball team in Central Park, who are falling behind in their practice game and the crowd turns on them. Suddenly, a titular stranger - a boy in a cowboy hat, arrives on the field and wishes to play. Although the team initially rejects him, one player suggests they take up his offer. Sure enough, the new player impresses the crowd with his catching skills. He remains on the team all season, earning them "exceptional fame."

Home to Me

Sung by three Anything Muppet children. The first Muppet (Jim Henson) sings about living in an apartment amid noisy cars and neighbors. The next Muppet (Fran Brill) sings about living in the warm jungle, and the last Muppet (Richard Hunt) sings about living in an igloo in the Arctic. At the song's conclusion, the three children (via split screen) sing that no matter what your house is like or where it is, it's still a home.

I live in three separate homes. In New York, a house with two floors, and in Florida, a house with one floor, and an apartment with two floors.

How about your home? Where do you live? What does it look like?

Don’t Walk

https://youtu.be/cV9rKeC4FEc

"Don't Walk" is a song sung by an Anything Muppet groom (voiced by Christopher Cerf), who can't cross the street and marry his bride, as she watches for him at the entrance to the church, all because the pedestrian signal says "Don't Walk," much to their dismay.

Simon Soundman makes a cameo driving a limousine.

Notes

When the signal switches to “Walk”, the bride and groom finally will be together. Although it was never seen, I’m just implying.

Why Rachel Crawford left after Season 4?

I was curious why Rachel Crawford disappeared as a regular character after Season 4.

From what I've learned, Telma Hopkins left to star in another sitcom, Getting By.

The show never really gave a clear explanation for her absence at the time—she mostly just stopped appearing. I've always thought it was strange because she was one of the original main characters and deserved a better sendoff.

The good thing is Hopkins is still alive and left for other acting opportunities, not because of any tragedy. She even returned for several guest star appearances in the series.

Her son Richie stayed on the show after she left, and while he was no longer a main focus, he also came back for guest star appearances later on.

Do you think the show should have done a better job explaining what happened to Rachel?

Feedback on an animated sequel pitch: Back at the Barnyard continuation

Logline:

Otis and his barnyard friends secretly live as intelligent, talking animals while trying to keep their identity hidden from humans.

Concept:

A comedic animated series continuing Back at the Barnyard, where Otis and his friends cause chaos on the farm while trying to protect their secret from humans like Mrs. Beady and Snotty Boy.

Each episode is a mix of slapstick humor, farm misadventures, and escalating attempts to avoid getting exposed.

Question:

Does this feel like a strong Nickelodeon-style continuation, or is the concept too familiar?
