Always regretted not being a bard back in the day, and I would look longingly at the Bards speeding buy in full bright blue plate, and wish it was me... Thanks EQL for making my childhood dream come true.

I'm pretty set on Froglok x/Bard/x. I love the look and feel of my Froglok Wizard/Bard/Shadow Knight in beta, but I know I have glaring deficiencies in healing as the Bard isn't gonna carry that role all too well. I love nuking, and kind of want to stay Wizard, but I might be persuaded to leave the nuking behind if someone's got an ultimate Bard layout that intrigues me. So what's the call? WIZ/BRD/CLR? WAR/BRD/SHM or CLR? Would simply switching Shadow Knight to Paladin in my current build really change things?

I’ve been running a Wizard main in beta and it’s making it really hard for me to try other classes: whenever I try to use any combinations with it and use their skills, I kind of chip away at HP, but don’t kill like overly fast or anything.
Meanwhile, I can just cast Shock of Lightning VI (I kind of focused it with motes) and chunk down reds pretty swiftly.
So I’m like: this is really good right? why would I wait for DoTs or sit there meleeing when I can just instantly chunk stuff down with nukes?
My buddy says because when you’re in T4 raids you won’t have the mana efficiency to sustain and kill stuff. Is that true? And is that the only, limited, concern with wizard or are they just generally more and more inefficient as time goes on? Also: would classing in ENC or BRD solve some of the mana efficiency issues? Are those the only mana efficiency boosters? Is this concern overblown and you can nuke away with Wizard and solve the efficiency problems with AA and other tuning?
