My new 3ds!!!

Hello everyone!

I finally got my hands on a new 3ds XL! I think I got it for a pretty reasonable price. I paid $350 (Canadian) for it. Came with the box, manual and charger but no games.

Not too sure if it’s priced high or not but the person I got it from barely used it and it was in really good condition with very minor light scratches on the outside shell; both screens look pretty much brand new as well.

I’m think these are both TN panels but after reading a bunch of posts; it wasn’t a big deal if I got IPS or not; it was more of a bonus if I got it. The fact that there are so many posts of people asking “TN or IPS?” is kind of self explanatory that it’s hard to tell between the two unless you tilt it and doesn’t make that much of a difference.

Anyways I wanted to share it with everyone and I can’t wait to start using it!!

Is IPS version actually worth it?

Hello all!

So I’ve been looking at the n3ds XL for some time now and I’m wondering if trying to find the dual IPS version is worth it. The one I really like are the hyrule edition ones which I know is not guaranteed dual IPS displays. I got some questions that I would love to get people’s opinions on.

  1. is dual IPS worth it or is TN fine? Brand new hyrule edition n3ds XL goes for $1200 for and around 400-800 for decent condition (Canadian). I just am a Zelda fan which is why I would consider the hyrule one

  2. how much better is the “new” 3ds versions or do I get the non “new” version.

  3. can it support SNES titles? Such as Mario titles, Zelda, Metroid, megaman.

  4. should I settle for just a normal edition ones (solid red or black color).

Price isn’t too big of a deal; I don’t mind spending up too $500 on one but i definitely don’t want to spend $1200. But at the same time spending 200-300 would be great

Let me know what everyone thinks! Buying tips would be great too

Hey everyone! So ive had my x100v for about 4 years or so and i barely used it (my shutter count was only around 1500). My wife and I recently went to Hawaii for vacation and I thought to myself that will be a good time to properly use it. After spending a good amount of hours on YouTube and messing around with the camera before the trip; this is what I shot.

Please take a look at the photos and let me know what you think! These are all SOOC using various recipes.

I absolutely love the way these turned out and just want to get better using this camera for another upcoming trip to Japan later this year!

I’m fairly new at photography and am still learning how to properly use this camera. Any tips/suggestions or constructive criticism is appreciated!!
