[Suggestion] Ability hints should display real damage numbers (including bonuses from armors and user buffs) instead of flat numbers which we have to calculate manually

I'm naked, my ability "does 321" damage:

Now I equip a cloth armor that increases my physical damage by 53%. The hint still says "321 damage"

Displayed damage amount is wrong!!!

Because of this, damage numbers tell you NOTHING about actual damage you're about to do. You have to test it out manually, rely on your intuition, it's really stupid. The calculation should also take into account buffs that are currently affecting you (like royal robe).

Suggestion number 2: Resistance / Armor numbers make no sense!

I'm sorry but what the hell does "+138 armor" mean? It will reduce damage by 138? Is it +13,8% defence?

https://preview.redd.it/1mp714jy11bh1.png?width=360&format=png&auto=webp&s=797ecbff1cf16e0ecfcb46cca5408dee97d4f802

LOL NOPE, it's going to reduce physical damage by.. 58% XD

What does 138 armor have to do with 58%? NOTHING. I mean, there's probably uber-complex algorithm you can find on wiki but who plays like that?

At this point you could also say "Armor: a little bit" and it would mean as much.

======

Suggestion number 3

The game should EXPLAIN how the statistics work because currently people have to rely on 3rd party websites to find out. This is BAD GAME DESIGN.

For example, recently carving swords had damage escalation added. What does it mean? I had to ask guildies. How "much" of damage escalation is "good"? Nobody knows.

Also, what the hell is "Item value? (See screenshot of cleric robe above). It's not estimate market value, it's not salvage value either (do people even salvage items anymore?). What is item value??

Alright cheers enough of my schizo ranting disguised as suggestions

it's friday, folks

How do I stop sucking at this game?

My EU character. With the US included, I have 0.5b fame total

800 spec swords, decent fame, and I'm still everyone's free loot. Posting this half to ask for help, half to find people who feel the same.

Disclaimer before anyone starts: I know fame ≠ skill. When I say fame I mean time played. I always figured that by the time I hit serious hours I'd be at least average. I'm below average, and I get farmed by players who started way after me.

My solo black zone experience (Mists, Roads, open world) every single time:

  1. Do PvE in my 1400 IP set.
  2. Can't kill the lower-IP players, because they won't fight me. Only ones who engage are the ones who can cheese me, or they jump in once I'm already low.
  3. Get deleted by 8.2–8.3 players, or by a group if it's open world.

I don't think I've ever killed a 1350+ IP player solo. Not once.

The core problem: I can't read what the enemy is doing. Too many weapons, too many unique E's, too many set combos. I recognize the loud, popular stuff - infernal shield, hunter hood - but there's always something I've never seen or forgot existed. Found out 1h arcane has 25m range mid-fight. What? And I have no idea if the guy is solo or baiting me into a third party. So much can happen that every fight just feels random. 5v5 hellgates are even worse - I can't track what's going on.

I've tried a pile of builds and content types and I feel like I should be better by now. I'm not. And the "just watch 40 hours of streamers" answer doesn't work when I don't have 40 hours.

So is it me, or does anyone else live permanently as the prey and never the hunter?

Mildly infuriating - every time I want to buy a t3 horse, these skins come up first. Then I have to either scroll or filter further...

It's not game breaking, it doesn't cost too much effort or time, but I had this exact scenario play out hundreds of times by now

Most of the guilds are filled with "edgy humor" and I'm tired of it

Few months ago I was looking for a guild and every single one I checked out was doing literal n-word "humor", nazi pictures, using "r*pe" as a synonym for "winning the fight".

So I decided to create my own guild where I kick people out for doing this type of humor. You would be surprised how many people I had to let go. People even seemed surprised, that they are being kicked from the guild, and that someone doesn't like whatever incel content they were posting.

Now I made my guild join an alliance and guess what - animal abuse gifs, using "r*pe", "n-words"...

This community is rotten, I swear. I even see people having n-words in their character description nowadays, openly.

And don't even get me started on /english chat...

I feel like I'm in the middle of "Lord of the flies 2" movie

Headquarters placement dilemma - Season ends soon and I need help

I'm a guild leader and with the season ending in 12 days, my guild has qualified for T6Q3 zone headquarters. I'm wondering if we should place the headquarters in T6Q3 zone or should we rather chose a zone which could theoretically be more chill - like avalonian roads.

My guild

  • 24 members, will probably get to 30-35 members in those 12 days.
  • Everyone is at least 30-40m fame
  • We plan to be medium-sized guild with max 50 members (that are active)
  • We want to be independent
    • No alliance
    • No NAPs
    • No renting or diplomacy
  • We do black zone content daily:
    • Group tracking, Open world BZ group camps, Gathering, Sometimes group dungeons 7.2/8.2, Crystal beasts
  • We do ava roads every other day:
    • Blue chests, Group tracking, Gathering, Golden chests

My dilemma: Should we go roads or black zone?

If we decide to go T6Q3 zone, will we be forced into NAP/renting?

How hard is it to keep up the HQ alive, will we be starved of power cores?

How is life in the roads HO nowadays? Does it even make sense to have a HO in the roads when you can teleport to any road from Brecilien anyways?

Also my guild isn't doing crafting so that's off the table for now

If there's anything else you'd like to share in this topic, please do
