im so tired 😭

I swear highlighter is my biggest struggle 😭 I can never get that blinding, almost wet-looking glow without it turning patchy or emphasizing every bit of texture. I’ve tried different brushes, fingers, powders, creams, layering, etc., but it still never looks like the inspo pics.
What am I doing wrong? Is it the product, the placement, the brush, or just my technique? I’d genuinely appreciate any tips/product recommendations because I NEED to figure this out 😭

I swear I always think I’m going to use just a little blush and then somehow end up looking like I ran a marathon 😭 Some formulas are so pigmented that one tiny tap is already more than enough, while others need multiple layers. I’m curious what everyone’s go-to blushes are, especially if you prefer something buildable and easy to control. Do you usually go for powder, cream, or liquid blush? And are there any super-pigmented formulas you’d recommend avoiding if you’re heavy-handed like me?

mine has slowly become sunscreen, lip balm, compact and approximately 47 random receipts. thinking of adding a sunscreen spray because reapplying during the day with a tube is such a hassle
