Dot n key barrier repair moisturizer - I think it’s close to two years now, still some more left, I only use a pea sized amount, anything more gives me painful breakouts, and I never had breakout in my entire life. Also it gives me closed comedones on my nose, I use niacinamide and salicylic acid products to fight it. I say this cuz there are days I skip my night routine & I actually noticed my nose looking more clear.

CeraVe SA cleanser - used it three times a day and it lasted me exactly a year. Does its job well. Not harsh at all and I have dry skin. Initially I feared for its salicylic acid content but then I started using regularly, no complaints.

Garnier micellar water - initially I used small bottle of binderma then switched to it cuz of cost concerns, but I don’t like this at all. First of all I hate the dispensing system, can’t control the product and a lot got wasted. Also it stings my eyes and gets foamy for no reason. Half the time I used it to clean my hands of makeup or my clothes. Good thing I got a big bottle of Bioderma micellar water as a freebie this time.

So recently Tira had this deal where they were handing out free full size conditioner for order value more than 500. Now I have not recieved that freebie. There is no mention of it in the order too. When I went to report missing order, only these two were showing. What shall I do ? Planning to return the order.

Just a few hygiene related bits I’ve purchased over the last week !!

- Oral B Pro Vitality Electric Toothbrush; I’ve been wanting to invest in an electric toothbrush for a while now, because apparently it’s better for your tooth and guys, this sounds silly, but I genuinely look forward for morning and night, just so i can brush my teeth with this !!
- TO Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner; for discolouration and eliminating odour for underarms
- Dettol Original Bar Soap; a staple for the hot summers !
- Vichy Treatment Anti-Transpirant; needed a new deodorant which didn’t stain my clothes AND left me odourless for the day and so far, this is doing a good job !!

The sale season has officially got me broke now. Anyways, I’m so happy with the haul. After so much hassle with Nykaa & Salt. Oral care (unnecessary delays), my order has arrived, feels like a much needed victory! 😭😂

Also, I finally got my hands on BBW Gingham Gorgeous and oh my god, it’s such a pretty fragrance, fresh pink clean girl fragrance. I love it.

I’m yet to try these products properly (just tested with no long term use), so I’ll do a proper review later if anyone wants it.

My wife had little to no interest in perfumes before we got married.

Fast forward to today… this is her collection, and I may or may not be responsible for creating this monster. 😅

It started with “What’s one good perfume I can wear?” Then it became “This one smells nice too.” Before I knew it, I was explaining fragrance notes, dry downs, flankers, and why you apparently need different perfumes for different moods and seasons.

Now she’ll randomly ask me, “What should I wear today?” and I genuinely enjoy helping her pick one.
The best part?

Between her collection and mine, our house permanently smells like a high-end perfume store. Opening the wardrobe is an experience. 😂

No regrets though. It’s become one of those hobbies we unexpectedly enjoy together. Every new bottle has a little memory attached to it, and it’s fun seeing her discover what she likes instead of just buying whatever is trending.

Still trying to convince myself that buying fragrances is cheaper than therapy.

So far, I’m losing that argument. 😅
