picked up a few things for pune’s summer heat and this sunscreen spray was the one thing i was most curious about

spf 50+ and the spray format just makes sense for keeping in your bag

came across 21 while looking for something interesting to watch tonight. the whole card-counting, brilliant students, and las vegas casino setup sounds pretty exciting.

for those who have watched it, is it actually worth the two-hour runtime? does it stay gripping throughout, or does it get slow after a point?

also, please suggest similar movies involving clever schemes, gambling, heists, or characters trying to outsmart the system.

watched balan: the boy last night, and i’m genuinely amazed by how the malayalam film industry keeps creating such beautiful films.

the characters, story, and screenplay flow so smoothly, yet the film manages to keep you gripped throughout. it takes its time setting up the characters, their backgrounds, and what they’re currently going through, but still delivers a climax that leaves you happy and gives you that satisfying feeling of having watched something genuinely good.

the second half does feel slightly stretched at times, but at the same time, it helps you understand the importance of balan’s love for his mother, his mother’s grit throughout the journey, and how every character experiences and evolves through the story.

the director makes you think about each character and appreciate how their individual journeys contribute to the overall story.

highly recommended. i really love films from this genre, so if you know of anything similar, please drop your recommendations below.

recently visited le plaisir in pune and had a very bad experience.

it used to be the place in pune for italian food, but this time we had one of the worst pastas and avocado toasts.

we ordered the three-cheese pasta and avocado toast with feta, and everything tasted off. we also had the tomato soup at the end, but even that tasted strange—almost like it was made with a very different kind of oil.

idk what’s gone wrong, but le plaisir used to be so good, and now the food has become really bad. the place was crowded, the service staff were behaving a little weirdly, and most importantly, the food quality has gone down significantly.

honestly, it was a very disappointing experience.

Recently visited Oud Arabia and went in thinking I’ll just “check out” a few perfumes.

Came out with this.

Picked up A Poem, Zainab, a Balqis, and another 100ml EDP from their collection. The packaging honestly feels super premium — crown caps, satin boxes, deep green and gold branding, proper luxury gifting vibes.

The fragrances are definitely not your regular fresh daily-wear perfumes. These are bold, warm, sweet, oud-heavy, and very Middle Eastern in personality. More like wedding / evening / festive wear than casual office perfume.

If you like soft, fresh, aquatic fragrances, this may feel too strong. But if you enjoy perfumes that actually project and leave a trail, Oud Arabia is worth exploring.

Anyone here tried Oud Arabia? Which one should I try next?
