What to do about Logan airport from providence

Hey everyone! I'm flying out of Logan in a few weeks and trying to figure out the most affordable and convenient way to get there from Providence.
My trip is only 4 days so I'm trying to keep costs low without making the journey to the airport a total nightmare. Has anyone done the commuter rail route from Providence? Is it reliable with luggage? Any hidden costs or timing issues I should know about? Or should I just find a parking lot nearby?
Would love to hear what locals actually do and I appreciate any advice!

Need recs for st Thomas trip!

Hey everyone! My partner and I (couple in our 20s) are heading to St. Thomas June 3–12, with 2 nights on St. John 9-11. First time in the USVI and we're so excited but a little overwhelmed with planning.

Would love recommendations for:
Food — casual spots and nicer dinners, ideally with local flavor
Nightlife — we like bars with a good vibe and definitely clubs with dancing or even bar hopping or boat parties
Beaches — we love snorkeling and somewhere that doesn't feel overcrowded
Activities — open to anything, water or land
Car rentals — any local companies you've loved (or ones to avoid)?

Also curious about the logistics of getting from St. Thomas to St. John: is the ferry straightforward? Even the small stuff no one thinks to mention would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
