Something unexplainable from childhood that you still think about from time to time?
I'll have the first answer to the question:
I'm from Finland, and this happened around late 2000s but before 2010. I had a best friend who lived at an over 100-year-old house at the time and we would hang out at her place quite often. We were both very energetic and interested on all things non-conventional, so it was usual for us to get to know all kinds of things and try those on our own, like making an Ouija-board ourselves and trying it. Well, once we were about to try it once again and didn't succeed as usual, so we were both frustrated and got into argument of some sort. Things escalated, and my friend ended up locking me in the house's basement for over an hour. I begged and screamed her to let me out, and eventually she did. I was emotionally numb and startled when I got out, and wanted to go home immediately after since she had been so mean to me. So I left with my bike, and it was raining at the time so I ended up taking my raincoat from my backpack and then I started my way up home. After a few hundred meters, a sudden feeling of alert got into me and I looked at my left side: there was a shadowy figure of a man who was vigorously moving all around, and I got in a panic mode and quickly continued my journey home. When I got home everything was alright, but that shadowy figure entered my dreams for a few nights after that... And ever since I have always wondered what the frig it was after all... Has anyone had any similar experiences?
