Spooly Boy MK5 Supra Discussion
Seen a lot of people getting destroyed on forums for asking about this or wanting to know how its done, so thought I'd provide some guidance from my basic knowledge.
Looking to do something to my A90 Supra similar to how my HKS turbo setup was on my S14A, for all the good spooly boy noises required. Not as clued up on B58 and BMW black magic that makes it all work, but the concept is as simple as it was back in the day:
Weld the internal wastegate closed in the stock turbo housing
Add external wastegate and screamer pipe, though if too loud may reroute it back into the exhaust like I did in my S14A (Sound deadening underneath didn't exist back in the day apparently)
Enjoy spooly boy noises and have people tell me online that I'm destroying my turbo, as if taking a few months of life from my turbo isn't worth it.

Feel free to let me know about any BMW magic that may stop my plan, and I plan on going hybrid or big turbo at some point so another reason that turbo health means little to me.
