Looking for that exact "gritty-but-sweet" teenage nostalgia scent (think Johnson's baby oil, warm malt, and peach wine coolers).

Imagine this—you are 16, your boyfriend (we can call him Greg) is 18 and he has his own apartment. You've never had a boyfriend with his own apartment.

You are in love, head over heels. You go over there whenever you can, high on the thrill of being able to do whatever you want without having to sneak around, no parents to hide from, you can have hours and hours of teenage sex on the goodwill sofa if you want.

Greg is tall, and dark and (at least at 16) you think he's pretty damn handsome. He drinks a lot of beer, and smokes cigarettes, and although now you're pretty sure if you met someone who smelled like this, you'd be grossed out, in your memory, it's all heat.

Greg would give you massages with Johnson's baby oil, and you'd drink peach wine coolers that fizzed up in your mouth. Once he poured those wine coolers all over you in the middle of things, licked the sticky fizzy drink off of your bellybutton and then kissed you deeply, with AC/DC back in black blaring in the background.

There was a cheap royal blue silk robe that you'd wear after, bought from some sort of Hot Topic-esque store, and it all felt heady and sexy and sweet and impossibly grownup, so that even now, you can conjure all those scents and tastes and be right back there...

My roommate was reminiscing over breakfast about a high school boyfriend and threw out this hyper-specific memory of how that era smelled to her, and how the scents still turn her on. It’s such a distinct, gritty-but-sweet teenage nostalgia vibe, how could i not come here and ask ya'll?

Think: Sweet peach fizz, clean baby oil, teenage desire, old tobacco, bitter hops and warm malt, synthetic silk, and the world laid out before you with anything possible.

What fragrance actually smells like that (or at least captures that energy if not the random combo of scents)

Sexy + Fresh summer scents that work in the arizona heat (caveat - under $50)

My usual scents tend toward roses and amber, heavy, musky, sensual...

But it's 106 here already (ughhhhhhh) and all of my usuals just feel a little much for daytime. I'd love to explore some scents that feel fresh and enlivening, but still sensual in some small way (or just a little captivating and unexpected.

I know I love orange blossoms (one of my favorite things about living in Arizona is smelling them every spring) and have a bottle of Jo Malone Orange Blossoms coming, as well as a bottle of [I](https://www.ebay.com/itm/235017278320)Lancolm Idole Aura from ebay (it was suggested as a more salty/beachy rose).

I've got a few other beachy roses on my try list (DS and Durga Rose Atlantic, Salty Rose by Barre, Rose Highland by Jorem - but those are all out of my price range right now.. your girl is on a budget.

I welcome any suggestions and am looking foward to moving out of my same ole comfort zone.

Any queer menopausal couples here dealing with mismatched libido?

My partner and I are 50 and 49 respectfully. I still have a strong libido but hers has been decreasing over the last year to the point wheee she no longer really feels like a sexual being.

I think we’ve had sex once since last September and it was really only once every 4-6 weeks before then. Now we have not sexual intimacy (cuddling etc) but barely do more than peck on the lips.

Prior to that we had a very strong chemistry and amazing sex life. I have been so patient and want to be supportive, but I’m struggling and don’t know how to feel fulfilled without any physical / sexual intimacy.

Anyone in a similar boat - on either side.

If you’re the one with reduced libido I’d love to hear what helps from your partner or in general.

If you’re the one with a stronger desire I’d love to hear how you’re coping with the emotions of having to push down those desires.

I’m really struggling
