For real though, I like this system a HELL of a lot better than people just hounding their site with bots, nabbing them up in 2 seconds. While I didn't have a chance this time, maybe next time if they continue to do it this way. AND with a larger print run.
I haven't really seen this posted on here, so I figured I'd open the discussion to see when everyone got into Absolute Batman.
What moment, character, issue drew you to start reading or collecting the series and turned into a "Whoa, this Batman is different" thought?
Personally, as generic as it seems, the intro/issue #1 where Alfred is narrating while watching Bruce take out the Party Animals. Then later in the issue when Alfred doesn't think Bruce will use the shotgun against him, but he does and everything that follows after.
Spoiler Tag just in case: Not going to post what happens in this issue. Just the cover. But I do wanna give it the hype (in my honest opinion). I don't think people are ready for this issue. Snyder is cooking something, and I've been shocked by these past few issues.
Trying to get some ideas/additions or subtractions out of this deck. Trying to keep it high Bracket 2 (can dabble in bracket 3 if a certain card works well with this). Mostly about dice rolling and treasure creation.
Also trying to keep it relatively budget $150-200 if possible.
