Is there a reason why Sainsbury always seems to be the worst when it comes to having price labels or accurate products in front of those labels.
Could just be the local one to me (Stratford upon Avon) but 9 of 10
Things I went to buy had no labels or were not labelled correctly.
My partner has been on sick leave for the last few weeks from her employer due to serious medical issues which may require surgery.
Her employer; large regal coloured pub company have been less than accepting.
Her manager when given sicknote called her a stupid lazy bee-hatch and moaned about having to cover. He has been telling staff members that she is stupid and shouldn’t be off; despite being hospitalised and in IC for a while.
This attitude has made her very reluctant to return to work. We made a referral of complaint to her bosses manager, who is friends with said boss and just disregarded the complaint.
Is this seriously acceptable in 2026 and what recourse is there except for her to be unemployed when (and indeed if) she returns to full health?
It should be as it was in previous installments. Will they add it later do you think?
Hi just looking for some advice I work in a pub kitchen and was asked to cover the bar for 10 minutes. We have a customer who drinks 6 or 7 beers and then gets in his car, I don’t agree with drink driving and said that I wouldn’t serve him but that if he waited a few minutes another staff member would.
He proceeded to shout insults at me calling me a c—- among others. Then stormed out.
I raised this with the company and he put in a complaint about me.
The company ignores my issue raised and apologises to him and gives him a voucher while putting me on disciplinary
He continues to drink in the pub and has made repeated threats that he will run me down with his car if he ever sees me in the street. He also makes abusive and potentially racial remarks about me to other customers.
I raised this with my line manager whose view was “deal with it”
What should I do in this situation ?
