Should I travel to Siem Reap after Pchum Ben?

I'm traveling around SE Asia and was planning to arrive in Siem Reap on 10/16 but then I read online about Pchum Ben and that it starts on 10/10 and runs for 15 days. Will SR mostly be shut down? Should I plan to arrive after the end of the festival instead? Thank you!

Move over Loewe Flamenco, I’m in love with my Coach Faye!

No shade at all to Loewe lovers, I just can’t personally justify spending $4k on a small flamenco. I bought a cheap gold-toned chain in amazon for my new Coach bag and I’m loving it. It’s been my everyday bag since the weather got warmer!

Thank you to the Knicks...

For providing me the opportunity to spend one hour breaking down the Jordyn Woods-Tristan Thompson scandal of 2019 to my 68yo father, all because he saw a clip of her standing next to Karl Anthony-Towns on Sports Center today and asked "[my name], maybe I'm crazy but I feel like I know that woman from somewhere?" My related tangents included a deep dive on the social power of Jada Pinkett-Smith's red table talk show between 2019 and 2021, Kylie and Timothee's relationship, Tristan Thompson's cheating history, Blac Chyna/Rob's relationship timeline and the birth of Dream aka The Last Kardashian, and last but not least, my Get Out conspiracy theory involving the Kardashian sisters and their choice of baby daddies. Photos were presented as visual exhibits to this discussion and now my Google image search history is a mess (e.g., "Blac Chyna's bbl before and after she converted to Christianity."). My dad was LOCKED IN and aghast the entire time and concluded with "who could've known that the trial of O.J. Simpson would have led to all this?" So, again, thank you to the Knicks 🧡💙

New dizziness after decompression?

I'm ~5 weeks out from my chiari decompression and C1 laminectomy. I had my surgery out of state near my where my parents live so that I could recover with their help. I am blessed to have my parents as a support system but I really am desperate to get back to my normal life now and the biggest obstacle to my independence is not being able to bend over at the waist (especially because I have a very small dog to take care of and I live alone back home).

I never had any dizziness before my decompression. When I got my suchers removed at 3.5 weeks, I asked my doctor "how long until I'm allowed to bend over again?" and he said "well until you're not in pain anymore!" I tried today to bend over for the first time...not fully from standing, but I squatted to the ground and then sort of leaned forward to pet my dog. It didn't hurt but when I stood, I had my first ever dizzy spell (vision almost went completely dark) and I had to sit down for a few seconds. I have a bit of a lingering headache at the moment as well.

Has anyone experienced this? If so, how long before it went away? I don't want to push it because I know I'm still at risk for a CSF leak but I'm feeling a little discouraged.

ETA: I do not have POTS and never had any issues with postural changes.

E2: Folks, I appreciate the input but I'm looking for people who did not have this issue pre-op and who may have developed it post-op (like soon after, not decades later). Just trying to get some feedback from people with similar circumstances to what I'm experiencing and how long it might last.
