First home potential – basement cracks and moisture concerns (need honest opinions)

I’m looking at buying my first home and I’m trying to get some outside opinions on the basement before I move forward.

The house was built around 1960 and sits on a hillside. The basement has cinder block walls and I noticed some cracks and what looks like previous patching or sealing near the floor and around the slab/drain area. There are also white streaks on the walls, a few darker areas near the bottom of the blocks, and a noticeable dark spot on the wall near the water heater that caught my attention.

From what I can tell in person and from the listing photos, the home is still standing solid and hasn’t had any obvious catastrophic issues, but I know basements like this can sometimes hide water or foundation problems.

I’m trying not to overthink it, but I also don’t want to ignore something important as a first-time buyer.

My main questions:

Do these cracks/repairs look like normal settling for a house this age?

Do the white streaks and darker areas (including the spot near the water heater) suggest ongoing moisture issues or just past water intrusion?

At what point would this be considered a “walk away” foundation problem vs a manageable repair?

I’ll attach pictures from the listing for context. Any honest feedback would really help me understand what I’m looking at.

Thanks in advance.
