Deloitte badge works at every location?

I am currently based at the Hyderabad location and plan to seek approval from my manager to work from another location in my hometown for a few days. I wanted to clarify whether employees are permitted to work from locations other than their base office. Additionally, do I need to obtain separate access for the other location, or will my existing badge work there as well?

Deloitte USI or TCS

Hello Folks,

I joined Deloitte four months ago in the Finance division at the Hyderabad office, and I am currently staying in a PG accommodation.

Now, TCS is offering me a role in my hometown. However, the shift timings are unusual (4 AM to 2 PM, five days a week, work from office). The compensation package is the same at both companies, but Deloitte provides a fully fixed salary, whereas TCS includes approximately ₹2 LPA as a variable component.

Should I move back to my hometown and join TCS, or continue here at Deloitte USI Hyderabad?

I would highly appreciate your advice.

Thanks alot

How to visit hometown?

I joined Deloitte in April 2026. I would like to visit my hometown at the end of August for two weeks, and again during Diwali in November for another two weeks. However, my elderly parents live alone at home so i have to go and check on their well being , and I am concerned about managing this. The challenge is that the company allows only one week of work-from-home per year, and I do not have many accumulated leave days. How can I handle this situation?

I joined Deloitte USI at Hyderabad location and it had been 3 months now. I have received a offer from TCS (Australian shift) for Kolkata location which is my hometown. Would it be better to continue at Deloitte or move back to my hometown?

Moving back to Kolkata from Hyderabad

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to speak my heart out. A couple of months ago, I relocated to Hyderabad for a better job opportunity. Initially, my stay was fine, but as time passed, I began facing frequent power cuts and severe water shortages. Getting proper sleep became impossible since the power is often cut at midnight, and the water scarcity here is overwhelming. On top of that, the toxic work environment in these service companies made things worse.

I tried to manage, but now I’ve decided to give up. I will be resigning and moving back to Kolkata, where I’ll try to start over while leaving all these unpleasant memories behind.

How will hiring managers view my resume with short tenures?

I’d appreciate some advice on how hiring managers might perceive my resume. Here’s my career timeline so far:

• Company A – Contractual role, 4.5 months
• Company B – Large organization, worked in FP&A for 3 years and 3 months
• Company C – Accountant role, later transitioned into FP&A in company D to gain more exposure.
• Company D – Joined 2 months ago in FP&A at a big company, relocated to another city. Due to personal reasons, I now need to move back to my hometown, but the company is not allowing it, so I’m considering leaving.

My concern is: as a potential hiring manager scanning my resume, how would they react?

Just FYI - I am semi qualified.
