Retrofit dishwasher
Hello! I've recently moved into a new home that didn't have a dishwasher. I'd like to replace the cabinet in the picture with a dishwasher. I've got an electrician coming for his portion and I have no issue with the plumbing. My concern is supporting the countertop on the right side. The cabinet is exactly 24" and there's about 1/2" overhang on the open face. What can I do to support the countertop on that side? I have another 2 inches of clearance from the door that can be used but the countertop itself only extends about 1/2" past the current cabinets.
