First off, I want to say that I don’t judge anyone who really likes this type of music. Art is subjective after all. That being said, to me, I don’t get why one would compose a piece that would alienate both an audience and the performer. First of all, most audiences are not likely going to be inclined to hear a piece that to most people sounds like a cat walking on the piano. Secondly, most performers wouldn’t want to pour hours into learning an overcomplicated, ridiculously difficult piece just for at best, no one to listen to it and at worst, to be ridiculed for playing it. So what’s exactly the point of the ridiculous complexity and lack of structure? If I said anything wrong here, please let me know.

I personally love many of his compositions, like The Fire Sermon, his etudes, and the first Piano Concerto, but I know that some people might find some of it unpleasant to the ear, so I wonder what people on this subreddit think of him.

I personally think a lot of his works are awesome, but I know his style can be a little hard on the ears, so I’m just curious about what this sub thinks about him.

Hello everyone. When I was younger, I was desperate to get a couple cosmetics in GD and I wanted to have fun with hacks so I unfortunately hacked a bunch of levels to get more stuff to get cosmetics and just beat levels. It’s probably the biggest mistake I made when gaming. Should I just delete my account and start over? There is a bunch of legit progress I made on it, but on the other hand, I don’t wanna play on a hacked account.

I was looking through the different notes and their lengths and was wondering if these specific notes show up in any piano pieces.
